7 HIGHLIGHTS.(2014-15)

1Media diversity through OFC has also been achieved on recently commissioned HASSDAC in GTJT-KWP section (in March) .Now both Quad cable & OFC communication is available for these axle counters.

2Four Nos. New IPS make Statcon with Version RDSO/SPN/165/2012 for 4 Line is commissioned at Hirnoda, Asalpur Jobner, Bobas and Dhanakya Station.

3ELD connected with Data Logger on Total 34 Nos. Station of Jaipur Division.

4Electrical Lifting Barrier Provided on LC Gate No:-142 (BU-RHG section) with up-gradation work in RE-BKI Section. (Total 2 Nos. LC Gates provided with Electrical Lifting Barrier up to current month during the year 2014-15).

5Emergency Slide Boom Locking arrangement provided at LC Gate:-219 (GADJ-JP), 93 (KRH) and 102 (SMPR-RGS) in RE-JP and RPC Section. (Total 5 Nos. LC Gates provided with Emergency Slide Boom Locking arrangement up to current month during the year 2014-15).

6Separation of Calling on and Home Signal HR Fuses done on Isarda, Chauthkabarwara, Devpura and Durgapura station. (Total 19 Nos. Station with Separation of Calling on and Home Signal HR Fuses done up to current month during the year 2014-15).

7Over aged 110 V/300AH Battery bank of Signal Lightingreplaced (Total 55 Nos. Batteries) at Rewari station.

848 Nos. Over aged 2V/80AH Track Battery replaced Bheslana, Renwal, Dhankaya, Kanakpura station. (Total 98 Nos. Over aged 2V/80AH Track Battery replaced up to current month during the year 2014-15).

9PPTC Fuse is provided at Gandhinagar, Sheodaspura, Isarda, Chauthkabarwara, Devpura, Gegal Akhri, Mandavariya , Bobas, Dhanakya, Peepli Ka Bas and Khandel Station.

10Up Gate Stop Signal (GF-4) of LC Gate 142 (BKI-AWR Section) shifted from Right Hand Side to Left Hand Side .

11Circuit Modification in indication and aspect of distant Signal has been completed at Sri Madhopur station departmentally as per EI guideline issued by NWR/HQ. (Total 53 Nos. stations Circuit Modification completed up to current month).

12Six No’s worn out point machine (Pt. No. 106,113,124,161,167 at JP Yard, Pt. No. 104 at KWP Yard ) replaced with new point machine. (Total 9 Nos. worn out point machine up to current month during the year 2014-15).

13Six Nos. Ground connection of Point Machine replacement work has been completed in Khatipura & Jaipur Yard. (Total 26 Nos. Ground connection of Point Machine replacement work has been completed up to current month during the year 2014-15).

14Total 385 Nos. Exothermic track bonding provided at Asalpur Jobner, Kanakpura , Dhanakya and Bobas in JP-FL section . (Total 1000 Nos. Exothermic track bonding up to current month during the year 2014-15).

Telecom:-

15.Train Arrival/Departure Information display LED TV systems have been installed on DPA and RGS station. The software has provision to display all the coaches of train also.

16.IT Initiative :-Four Nos. New DSLAM Modem connection provided for Railnet at Jaipur Station. (Total Six Nos. DSLAM Modem provided up to current month during the year 2014-15).
17. 2 Nos. New 2 Mbps FOIS channels on Railway OFC have been connected between JP-KKU and KKU-FL section on Jaipur division.


16. Dismantling of overhead alignment is Completed in JP-SWM Section.

17. 10 Tones telecom scrap materialsent to Ajmer Store for DS-8 from SSE/Tele/JP comprise of old MW equipments.

18. 2 set of VRLA battery (48V/200AH) replaced at Mahwa and Khairthal Station.

8 OTHER HIGHLIGHTS. (2013-2014)

8.1Signalling

1.Equipment Training program for Single Token Less Block Instrument organized from 21.01.2014 to 25.01.2014 by the Podanur Training School instructor, Southern Railway at SSE/Signal/Jaipur Office and Total 45 Nos. S&T staff attended from all four division of North Western Railway.

2.New Data Logger Maintenance Centre commissioned at DRM/JP Office. And Auto generation of SMS from database for various exceptions is also functional as an aid to maintenance field staff in real time.

3.Solar panel (81Nos/80 W each) provided for IPS Battery charging at 16 stations up to current month during the year 2013-14. (Devpura, Isarda, Banasthali Niwai, Channani, Chaksu, Sheodaspura, Sanganer, Durgapura, Siras,Chauth ka Barwara, Jatwara, Bhankari, Baswa, Rajgarh,Khatipura & Mawha).

4.New version Data logger (99/2006) with 1280 digital & 32 analog input commissioned at Khatipura, Araniya , Bhankari, Asalpur Jobner, BobasDhankya, Getor Jagatpura, Dausa, Jatwara, Jhir, Kanauta, Bassi and Bandikui Stations. (Total 13 Nos. stations up gradation completed up to current month during the year 2013-14).

5.Total 136.75 tones scrap (Ferrous:-85.385 tones, Non Ferrous:-49.290 tones, Mild Steel:-1.405 tones, Plastics:-670 Kg) sent to Ajmer Store for DS-8 from SSE/Signal/Jaipur, Bandikui& Phulera Store office in the month of January 2014.(Total 251.12 tones scrap sent in the year 2013-14).

6.Over aged 110 V/200AH Battery bank of IPS replaced with 110V/300AH Battery Bank 1826 No. battery at 28 stations has been replaced up to current month.

7.LC Gate No.182 (DO-JW), LC Gate No:-92(KRH-.HSI) & 95,96(KRH-PSL) in RE-JP section have been interlocked & commissioned. (Total 4 Nos. LC Gates interlocked & commissioned up to current month during the year 2013-14).

8.Emergency Slide Boom Locking / Key Chain arrangement provided at LC Gate :-23,49(JP-SWM) ,189(JW) ,151(JP-RE) ,182(DO-JW), 202(BAI), 195(JR),69(BWL),70(BWL) 229(KKU-JP), 228 (JP-KKU),128 (MKH Yard) ,108 (RGS Yard) , 222 (JP-BSGD) & 82C(BSGD-DPA). ( Total 14 Nos. LC Gate provided with ESB and 01 Nos.LC Gate provided with Emergency Key Chain Interlocking up to current month during the year 2013-14)

9.Electrical Lifting Barrier Provided on LC Gate No:-249 & 1 at Phulera ,78 at Sanganer , 243 at Asalpur Jobner , 157 ,156 at Bandikui ,211 at Khatipura , 73 at Sanganer , 193 at JR-JW Section& 151 at Baswa station.( Total 10 Nos. LC Gate provided with ELB up to current month during the year 2013-14).

10.New IPS of Version RDSO\SPN\165\2012 make Statcon is commissioned at Jaipur, Bandikui and Khairthal (Separately for LC gate) Station.

11.In Kathuwas Yard, ELB of LC 20 Shifting work was done in connection of CONCOR siding.

12.‘B’ Type Chokes , Batteries and QTA2 relays for track circuits areprovidedin connection of Railway Electrification work of AWR-RE Section.

13.Total 50 Nos.Points Machines replaced up to current month during the year 2013-14.

14.During DFCCIL Utility Shifting work, all main cable tail cable and Location shifting work completed at Mirzapur Bachod station.(Total 4 Station completed out of 6 Station in RE-DBLA Section) .

15.Circuit Modification in indication and aspect of distant Signal has been completed on all Panel Interlocking stations (Total 50) in Jaipur Division up to current month.

16.Total 1221 Nos. FRP Type TLJB replaced in Jaipur Division as a theft prone measure during 2013-14.

17.Track Feed charger with Potentio-free contact is connected with Data logger for failure alarm on Total 15 Nos. Station up to current month during the year 2013-14.

18.Shifting of Starter Signal to the boundary of track circuit ahead is completed at Sanganer, Durgapura, Banasthali Niwai, Chaksu, Channani , Siras , Isarda, Chauth Ka Barwara andSheodaspura, Devpura Station (Total 10 Nos. Stations, Shifting of Starter Signal to the boundary of track circuit ahead is completed up to current month during the year 2013-14).

19.Due to DFCCIL infringement, the shifting work was completed of Electric Lifting Barrier on LC Gate 13 at Pali Station in RPC Section.

20.Signal S-31 in Rewari Yard and Signal S-46 of Chaksu are shifted from Right Hand Side to Left Hand Side.

21.Road User Signal and Warning Bell provided on LC Gate:-114 in the Alwar Yard.

22.Fuse Monitoring & Automatic Changeover System commissioned at Banasthali Niwai, Chaksu, Durgapura, Sanganer and Sheodaspura station in JP-SWM section. (Total 05 Nos. Station provided with Fuse Monitoring system up to current month during the year 2013-14).

23.Seven Nos. additional 20KVA DG Sets provided on Khori, Pali, Kund, Kathuwas, Ateli ,Mirzapur Bachod and Narnaul station

24.Total 312 No’s Track Feed charger with Potentio-free contact installed up to the current month during the year 2013-14.

25.Total 9 No’s wooden sleeper point replaced by PRC up to the current month during the year 2013-14.

26.The provision of Red Aspect of Road User signal During Emergency Key Chain Interlocking provided on all interlocked LC Gate in AWR-RE Section and LC Gate 247,246 & 245 in JP-FL Section.

27.Improved Lighting Protection arrangement (B, C & D Class) is provided at Total 13 Nos. Station up to current month during the year 2013-14).

28.Total 12 Nos. DLBI (JP-FL section) of Due Periodical Over-hauling have been replaced during the year 2013-14.

29.The facility of Dead Approach Locking for Gate signal is provided on LC Gate:-91 in (Khairthal-Harsouli).

30.Total 10 Nos.Track Circuit involving more than 2 points Bifurcated up to current month during the year 2013-14.

8.2 Telecommunication

1.STM-1, PD MUX and Way Side Equipment commissioned on all 13 stations between NMK-RE section. Optical Fiber has been lit in the complete RPC section and all 27 stations have been commissioned.

2.Train Traffic Control Communication has been shifted from Quad cable to OFC equipment in RPC section and is working satisfactorily.

3.All UTS/PRS circuits have been transferred on Railway OFC in RPC section. Now all 25 stations are working on Ring Protection in this section. This resulted in surrendering of BSNL circuits and a saving on recurring charges of Rs. 17 Lacs is achieved.

4.Passenger Amenities:- 2 Nos. Multiline Train Display Boards 5 lines and 10 lines commissioned at Jaipur Station. 10 Nos. Single Line Double face A/D Train Display Boards installed at platform 1, 2 and 3.

5.IT Initiative:- Rail net Facility provided to SSE/Signal/RGS , IPF/RGS , JE/SIG/GADJ and RPF/GADJ Office.

6.Additional ADSL cards of 12 Ports installed at Phulera and Bandikui Exchange for expanding subscriber of DSLAM.

7.OFC Connectivity provided for rail net at Ganpatinagar MW, Loco Rest House, PRS, DRM Office , GM Bungalow , Panipech officer Railway colony.

8.TV Display System for Enquiry commissioned on Jaipur station for current position of train arrival and departure for manual enquiry.

9.12 No’s CCTV camera commissioned at Rewari Station.(Total 27 camera.)

10.STM-1 and PD-MUX provided in between MW, PRS & DRM Office. All UTS/PRS circuit transferred from Quad cable to OFC media of MW,PRS & DRM office.

11.318 Nos.DSLAM Modem connection provided for Rail net in jaipur division up to current month during the year 2013-14.

12.Dedicated OFC Connectivity with 4 E1 and 2 Ethernet port is provided between NWR HQ and Getor Jagatpura Telephone Exchange.

13.New PA system installed in Arawali Auditorium/Jaipur and RPF Zonal Training centre conference room/Bandikui.

14.RPC STM1 Link extended from Phulera to Jaipur by providing 6 STM-1 equipment of improved version & capacity of 32 E1s.

15.In ISS Work, 74 No’s CCTV camera commissioned at Jaipur Station.

16.NMS for STM1 ( Total 33 Nos. STM1 nodes) in RPC Section is installed and commissioned in Test Room, Jaipur.

17.Telecom Wiring is done on 380-Work Station on Modular Furniture at NWR/HQ.
