The Division has a network of

Divisional Hospital Jodhpur



Health units (8) at Jodhpur station, Bhagat-ki-Kothi, Railway Workshop/Jodhpur, Samdhari, Merta Road, Barmer, Phalodi & Degana.

 

The Division has 26 doctors including specialists and paramedic staff headed by CMS/JU. The DivisionalHospital at Jodhpur was inaugurated on 1956 and the Health units of Luni, Samdhari & Merta Road were functioning before amalgamation of State Railways into Indian Railways. It has the services of specialists in Medicine, Surgery, Gynae and Obstetrics and Hon. Visiting Specialists in laparoscopic Surgeon, Radiology & Gastro-enterology

 

The Hospital is 117-bedded and has 5-bedded ICU and a 10-bedded TB ward with facilities like X-ray, ECG and a well-equipped pathology lab and Casualty.

 

The Divisional Hospital is also doing Endoscopic surgeries like TURP, Bladder & Uretic stones removal, Uretic Stenting, Bladder Turnover removal, Arthroscopy, Functional Nasal Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Aesophagoscopy and Microsurgery like Myringoplasty and Laryngeal microscopy etc. Recently the Hospital is doing Cataract Operation by Phaco- emulsion method. Private Hospitals recognized for investigations like Digital x- ray, Ultra Sonography, Pathological tests, CTMT etc.
